Created from discarded Bakelite components we found in a box at a favorite flea, the pendant is at once glamorous and grounded, whimsical and sophisticated. Hand-wired with 14 karat gold-filled wire, the coral crescent tops a trio of brick-red, butterscotch, and pavement-hued discs, and their golden decoration is echoed at back by a gilt copper toggle, adjustable from 17.5 to 18.5" in overall length.
